  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience on projects involving similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • An active IAM Level I certification or higher in compliance with DoD 8570.01-M, such as CAP, GSLC, or Security+.
  • Professional experience with one or more of the following technologies:

  • Experience deploying and operating software in Linux environments, including service configuration, log analysis, basic networking, and automation.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, authentication and authorization fundamentals, and secure coding practices.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and practical database performance concepts, including indexes and query tuning.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small technical team.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, EC2, Application Load Balancer, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and CloudWatch, or equivalent Microsoft Azure services.
  • Experience configuring and tuning Nginx, Apache, or Tomcat.
